This is Part 1 of a 3 Part Series on podcasting! Podcasting is a hugely powerful traffic generator and is really simple to do … if you keep it simple. Not everyone has to be a “radio show host” to pull of generating traffic with a podcast, and in this series we show you the simple method. The Session is entitled: ‚ÄúPodcasting Pt 1: Mounting Audio Files On Your Blog … The Doorway To Podcasting”

Every good endeavor must start somewhere, and before we can get into the real meat of creating a semi-automated podcast, we need to know a few basic skills. The main one of these is simply working with audio files on your blog. Audio files have their own peculiarities, and we need to know what they are and how to deal with them. Simply uploading to your Media Library and putting a link on your site won’t work.

In this lesson you’ll learn the basics of working with audio files … the plugin you need to get them mounted in a player on your site. You’ll also learn a very simple method of “re-purposing” your videos into audio files as well.

Enjoy!
