Suggested keyword density was 1% to 5%, which means for every 100 words of content on a page, the keyword you were optimizing for had to appear 1 to 5 times on that page. It used to be, if you wanted to rank web pages, then you had to count your keywords. Webmasters used what they called keyword densities.

Content Creation Problems: Here Are Some Great Tips!

Is Consistant Content Creation
Your Problem?

Here Are Some Great Tips That Will Help …

All of us have challenges coming up with new, fresh content for our websites on a regular basis. It can be time consuming, and many times the ideas about what to write about just don't come!

I want to share two things with you today. Both have to do with content creation, and the first is fun … and good!

Have you met Marie Forleo? If not, then I'm happy to introduce you to each other. Marie is a very fun and talented video blogger. She is a motivational and online business teacher and has a great site you can visit at Marie Forleo.

In this short video, Marie will walk you through something that might help with your content creation problems … "How to Write Fast: 8 Secrets To Better, Quicker Content".

I like her a lot … she's fun!

Here are some more tips from a different source … a source with a different point of view.

Heidi Cohen is the President of Riverside Marketing Strategies. She comes at this subject from the viewpoint of one running a company … not someone working on their own, as Marie does. This, however, really makes very little difference to the concepts she presents to help with your content creation and marketing problems.

Here is an article from ClickZ, written my Ms Cohen, that has some very valuable ideas.

Content Marketing Drives Social Media and Sales …

By Heidi Cohen – "To support your content creation engine have an ongoing process within your organization to ensure you've got a constant flow of potential articles …"
http://www.clickz.com/clickz/column/2186568/content-marketing-drives-social-media-sales-spending

No matter where on the learning curve you are, these are some great ideas that might really help you … depending just where you are in your online business development. Pick the ones you think will help you the most right now … and put them into action!

The most important thing, I believe, is that we must get systematic in our content creation … in some way. Too many of us create our web content in a haphazard and careless manner. If you want to see things get simpler and content creation seem easier … put some systems in place that will help you.

Once you have some systems working for you … helping you decide what to write about and when to write about it … be sure you visit the Learning Wing here on our site and check out the lesson titled: "How To Write An Article In 30 Minutes". You'll learn a foolproof method that will have you writing traffic grabbing articles in about half an hour! No kidding!

That's it for today. Have a GREAT afternoon, Folks!

The 30 Best Content Curation Resources for Marketers …

Content Curation:
What Are The Best Resources?

Here's a great article from Michael Brenner of "Business 2 Community" that provides a list of his recommended resources for "Content Curation".

Online Techniques | Content Curation

Now … some of you might not yet be aware of what "curation" is. Relax! I'm going to be teaching it when the Learning Wing comes back from hiatus! Curation is the process of bringing together relevant content on a particular subject … and making it easily available in one place for the "searcher" … without actually creating it yourself. Actually … just like this post!

Right now I can hear some of you screaming, "Duplicate Content! Duplicate Content!" And … you're right … to a certain extent.

BUT … the Panda and Penguin updates have changed how Google "weights" things in its ranking of sites, and Content "Curation" (like the curator in a museum) is now actually pleasing to the Google monster … if it's done correctly. We'll be going over all that very soon in the Learning Wing … so stay tuned!

In the meantime … enjoy Michael Brenner's list of great resources for Curators.

The 30 Best Content Curation Resources for Marketers and …

By Michael Brenner – "I use email alerts from RSS feeds, Twitter lists and a few key websites I visit every day to make sure I can stay on top of the latest trends and news in business and marketing. So here, I have curated my own list of the top sites of business and marketing information – some of which are great examples of content curation themselves."

Content curation is one of those things that the recent changes in the Google algorithim have made more acceptable by the more intelligent way the Google spiders are viewing things these days. Using it correctly will get you traffic like you never dreamed of before … and we'll be teaching you how to do that very soon.

Content Creation: Is Presentation More Important Than Content Itself?

Content Creation:
Is Yours Interesting Or Boring?

Do you know? Have you thought about it?

You should.

How your content is presented on your blog is vitally important. Do you know what the term "Bounce Rate" means? In Google Analytics, the term "Bounce Rate" refers to the number of times you receive a visitor to your site who sees your home page … and then leaves without viewing anything else. All you need to know here is this: it's not a good thing.

The fact is, how your content is presented can make the difference between it actually being read … or simply seen. And, being read can mean the difference between being paid … and not.

Here's a great little article from "Search engine Land" by Jordan Kasteler. Kasteler is the online marketing strategist for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Whatever you might think of PETA … go look at their websites. What I can tell you here is also very simple: they have very low "Bounce Rates".

Is Presentation More Important Than Content Itself?

By  – "It doesn't matter how mind-blowingly original or well-crafted your content is: if your audience doesn't stick around to consume it, why bother creating it? Gone are the days when users are satisfied with a mere blog post or status post."

http://searchengineland.com/is-presentation-more-important-than-content-itself-123427

When you are creating content for you blog take that extra step. Take a moment and ask yourself, "What is this going to look like to the viewer?" Is it to dense? Do I need to break it up a bit with subheadings or graphics? Should it be a bit more colorful? What can I do to make it a more pleasurable viewing experience and a more memorable read?

Taking just that extra bit of time and care can make all the difference in the world.

Have a GREAT Day!
